"Horti: The secret of Porta Romana" - Milan (MI), Via Lamarmora/Via Orti
"Horti" is the residential complex project designed by Michele De Lucchi located in Milan (MI), Via Lamarmora / Via Orti
The site is located on the north-west / south-east axis of Milan within the Spanish ramparts with entrance from Porta Roman.
The lot is between two parallel road fronts (Via Orti and Via Lamarmora) and bordering on the sides with other existing buildings and third-party properties. The approximate size of the Lot is approximately 14 600 square meters.
The project consists of restoration, conservative and building renovation with demolition and reconstruction, in order to create a real estate complex of buildings entirely for residential use.
The existing complex, largely under protection of the Superintendency, includes a main building, called Villa, built with the function of a nursing home and located in a central position in the lot, a small adjacent building, called Lavanderia, a large outdoor green area, including a protected garden, walls and perimeter buildings, which delimit the lot on the street fronts of via Lamarmora and via Orti.
