Starhotels Rosa Grand - Milan (MI), Piazza Fontana, 3

The intervention consisted in a total requalification work of the preexisting building, next to piazza del Duomo, with the total demolition of the interiors, rooms, bathrooms, common spaces and of the facades. The demolition of the last 2 storeys of the building made possible to transfer the existing gross floor area. The renewed hotel facilities has 87 rooms, a fitness and a wellness area. The top unit was built in metallic carpentry contextually to the demolition and construction of the rooms below, with a demanding site management also in relation to the restricted usable spaces, to deliver the finished work in four and a half months.
